I have fought 8 times now in War and I would like to say that girlsgeneration has been my most impressive opponent.

To be perfectly honest we went into this matchup giving ourselves 100% win probability. Knowing Gravity's deck and their salvage, I realized the only possible way to lose would be through poison, since Antimatter would counter everything they had and their CC could not get sufficiently past Steal and Dragon spam. And the only possible poison is a flying Arsenic, also requiring a Nova, both from salvage.

I weakened my own deck gradually over the course of deckbuilding, trading cards to strengthen other decks, but still thought this would be a walk in the park. However, after GG learned my deck through the first game, she found a way to put pressure on me by bringing damage out quickly, and by actually sniping her own Chargers so they would only need one more hit to kill; that way when I would Antimatter them, she could kill them in one single turn and not heal me twice. She beat me the second game when she brought out a surprise Titan that I didn't know about. The third game I kept all my creatures in-hand and spammed them at the same time. She did not have enough CC to kill them before it was too late.

Great tactics GG and match well played. I am sorry to see Gravity leave War. In my opinion your element has the biggest disadvantage between upgraded and unupgraded cards. But maybe Zanz is about to add a new Gravity card ... who knows.

Final match for :gravity. I knew that the odds were against our favor, but tried my best. I have struggled against that perfect counter deck and somehow even managed to get a win, but wasn't enough to take another win.

Round 1
The moment I saw Mark of :darkness I cried in despair. This deck is focused on permanents, and steals kill them. SV had an awesome draw and kept pumping out dragons, while I, knowing that I was going to lose anyway, mindlessly played permanents.

Round 2
I learned from Round 1 that I desperately need to fly an OE. So I did in about turn 5. Then I took out a charger and sniped it immediately so that I can kill it after it got antimattered. After doing that about 3 times, SV ran out of antimatter, and the rest of my chargers beat him close to death. I played a titan as well for the final beatdown.

Round 3
I had an early flying OE as well, but SV also had a plan. He started with 3 pendulums and his :darkness quanta supply kept growing and growing, which left me worried of OTK creature spam. Used the same strategy as round 2, but didn't work so well as he had many antimatters ready anyway.

Soon I was left with an antimattered flying OE, an armagio, and a sapphire charger, dealing a net of 0 damage. I now desperately needed a flying arsenic that could poison him to death even if it's antimattered. I did have an arsenic in hand, but no flying weapon. The turn I drew it, he spammed 3 dragons and 2 nymphs and killed me the turn after.

Good games. That was probably the most mind wrecking game I've ever played.

Gravity is out of this war. However, we will be back, because...

Nice try GG. Winning 1/3 with a countered deck is something to be proud of.
