brb, going to find the heart that jumped out of my chestcage.
Well, they just about had the perfect deck against me that they could possibly field. EQ's against a bad stack split, Discord before defence, Graboids can't be Lightning'd, Purify for healing and Fog being the best shield against my Dragons.
1st duel: went well for me with a good balance of all the cards I needed, including first turn Electro. Didn't win with a lot of HP though.
2nd duel: was lost by 4 HP as he drew Explosion.
3rd duel: ...I must've lost. Fuzzy.
4th duel: went to me as he didn't have the quanta for his second Explosion.
5th duel: was my best, where I was finally able to get my offence rolling. I facepalmed at first turn Fog, but three Dragons took care of bizniz.
I can't vouch for the accuracy of anything in my post since this was my second most nerve-wracking match ever, only outdone by my first finals of the Trials of Aether with pika. But I do know that I got first turn Electro in two games, and even if it didn't make or break a game, that Electro is thus my hero.

Close games and quite fun games, Higs really knows her strategy. Rainbows shows what power (even if its not enough) they have even against such powerhouses that is 100% upped decks. In a fair world this should have been a 3-0 or 3-1 game in Aethers favor.
Game 1 loss
As expected really. Controlled play of pillar pends once i showed the EQ. Conserving lightings for last hit. Getting dragon out to chip away my hp while electrocutor did so all game. It was Higurashis 4 hp to my 1 hp at the last turn.
Game 2 Win
I had great quanta and topdecked graboids. Higs was low on quanta and what she had i EQ'd in the early rounds. Won by drawing Explode at the last minute when i needed it.
Game 3 Win
Like the earlier round except i think Higs had the worst possible draw she could have. We were down to 4 or 5 cards when it ended. The MVP this game was my 2 purifies and FoG shield, they were keeping her dragon blocked and outhealed the dmg it did. Drew novas to execute the evolves and cast the last explode there. (Btw when you Explode and BH and theres 12 aether left and disc hit then WHY does it just scramble 6 and leaves 6 aether? in a fair world it should have sealed the win there but luck granted me the hax of fog to survive util the last Explode.)
Game 4 Loss
Compleatly dominated really. No explodes or fogs or purifies and late disc. This game showed why stable decks beats rainbows and should. Higs was at 70ish hp all safe and sound behind dims when i was killed.
Game 5 Loss
I was really hope full got fog in starting hand +2novas but lacked entropy to play disc. This was he firts nail in the coffin that was my undoing. Also FOG refused to work this time around Nail nr #2. THREE dragons from higs in short order which resulted in nail nr #3. The foruth and final nail was that i had both Explodes and BH but the third nova came at card nr 20 at turn 14 so i was so screwed with not being able to execute the combo earlier.
