Round 1: Early discord was crucial. And I had tons of quanta, so I could absorb 2-3 RTs on my Crimson Dragon and just keep playing it. Killed a couple of his shriekers and just scraped out the win.

Round 2: Early earthquake by Demagog left me lacking in quanta the whole match. He beat me with 44 life left. There just wasn't much I could do.

Round 3: Early discord again. Discord left with him with <2 time quanta 3 straight turns while my Crimson Dragon was out, and he couldn't recover from that hit.

A nice attempt Dema, as usual my spectate doesn't work, but from chat it was apparent that Discord hax was the deciding factor in this match, but hey, what can you do?

I won't call that a random deck.  We actually picked out their deck almost card for card and used this as a counter.  Against another deck, that could have easily owned us.

I didn't mean to disparage the deckbuilding skillz of Team Fire--it was just a first impression.  It has a number of powerful and CC cards (2 teams that just so happen to be doing quite well) which were adequate to handle shriekers and, of course, the ever-present Discord which apparently served it quite well.   After all, the most important thing is that the deck wins, not how it looks.

I'd say our decks were very evenly matched. If the stone skins had been earthquakes, I think I'd have easily won. In the first game I drew one late, so I discarded it because he already had tons of quanta. I drew both stone skins pretty early, though. Second game I started with one and got the other very early as well, but didn't play the second until the end because he didn't put out much else. Last game I didn't draw any, or if I did it was really late. If I had, I'd probably have won. I think stone skin was the first card I drew.
