first game i was really fast, he had no arsenic, and i won pretty fast.

second game he had a fast arsenic and chainshields, no deflag showed up, and i was poisoned to death (i think 18 counters at last)

third game i had a semi-good start, but again a fast arsenic, i was able to remove the 12 poison counters on me with purify when i was on about 30, then his shield ran out and i ran also over his bonewall. last turn, i also drew a deflag, but wasnt needed, he hadnt got a shield.

ggs mrblonde, was really nice.

Nice games Antagon. Pretty decent counter deck to mine. Last game was so close but i knew i needed to have 2 phase shields in hand because of deflags but didn't even have 1. The two games i lost i drew only 1 bone shield and 1 phase. Hard to block those phoenixes with no shields. Also that purify saved your bacon. So sad... was one card away (you not having purify) to moving on again. Oh well.

Anyhow we have finally found our grave and want to wish all the other teams good luck.

ty. was the closest match so far, and with my starting hand, last round, without a deflag or the purify, i hadnt much hope to win this. => drawing skills, lol.

i was clearly predicting your deck, but it was still very close (more than its good for my nerves), i hope to see team death under your command again next war :)

With spectate being what it was I had barely any idea what was going on.  I'm glad we came through in the end.

Congratulations to Antagon & consolations to MrBlonde.

Thanks Antagon. I knew your deck was going to be tough to beat. Since you've gone 4 out of 5 fractal phoenixes i pretty much knew what was coming as well.  ;) What i didn't see coming was that purify. Pretty darn sneaky. And hope to see you next war as well Antagon... Antagon the Undefeated.

Alas, Death is no more.  My condolences to you all.  You fought well indeed.  Unfortunately, we may not be far behind you.   :(

It's a shame isn't it that we never can draw the cards we need while he gets all the good cards?   ::)

Good games, but I'm really sad to see you go Master of :death. :(

But I suppose the symbolism in this defeat is too good to not recognize, no? The only way to truly get rid of the dead... is by converting them into the ashes they once defied with :fire. ^^;

Well, taking a look at the cards fire used in their matches so far this round, they have 59 fire cards total. Someone should go up against them with a deck of only fire cards so they are forced to play another person :-D

They could always sub in order to avoid salvaging, or try to get a penalty to sacrifice some fire cards ;)

Another way is to bring them back to life (eg. with reverse time) and then immortalize (eg. with anubis)... I wonder it that tactic would work in case of a zombie apocalypse.
May the force of the D4HK side be with U ^_^

1.) its not possible to play a deck with only fire cards against fire! see the 50% rule. AND its not possible to play a mono deck, at this phase with less than 6 players.
2.) we had a suicide deck against terro, and still could discard fire cards there, to add new.

Actually a team could take a mono fire deck, they'd just have to take a penalty. And really, they'd just need to take 25 fire cards. All you'd have to take is one. It's obvious you're going to discard 15 fire cards from this deck, so you can have 44 total.
