Predicted a devtal of some sort. Not much of a chance for Ruta in this one, had a sanc in every starting hand. Too much healing+CC to handle. GG's

Not the best matchup, but still pretty fun overall.

Game 1: My Opening hand: 5 pends, dev, fractals.

It became a war of attrition, and I lost by dragon beatdown. I got him down to the 30s hp-wise though, which was surprising, given his fog & sancs.

* = Trolliest moment of the match.

Game 2: My 2 pend start vs. his 1 pend start. I thought "Maybe I have a good chance this round!" But sadly, no. He got more pends, too much that my 2 devs couldn't keep the levels low. He got an early fog, I played dusk shortly after. Sanc vs vamps + hax shields and dragons thrown in. He got all 6 sancs in the top 15 cards this game too. Lost by deckout.
This game mostly went like this: Every time I play a dragon, he plays Holy Light

Game 3: The most fun part of this match. As usual, I started with devs, he with sancs. Had another two pend start as well. At first, dusk wasn't working too well. Then, the survival instincts kicked in. I had some vamps out, a dragon or two, and he had 3 dragons. He got me down to just over 20-ish hp. My vamps weren't hitting AT ALL through his fog. But, for about 5 or so turns, I held on through dusk. I kept going down to <10 hp, and back up enough to either survive, or none of his dragons hit. Eventually, he got through, but this was the most hax part of it all. And to top it off, the music I had on made it even funnier for some reason. (Some of the more dramatic pieces by Nightwish - Ghost Love Score & Wish I had an Angel).

It was in this war match that I discovered the animation for Holy Light. (Yes, it does indeed have an animation O.O)
