Game 1: LOSS
Terrible draw this round. Didn't draw a Guard till about 16 cards left in deck, and had only decent quanta with 3 fractals in hand. Try to hold them off with a D. Shield (Probably played too early, but I feared Deflag). Guard finally came, but I couldn't get damage up fast enough, as I had to also wait for Fractal quanta I think. When my shield died, so did I within a couple turns.
Game 2: WIN
Average draw, got Fractal/Guard out nicely and my attempt at a D. Shield was Deflagged, but I had the damage advantage anyways. He couldn't keep up so I finished him off nicely.
Game 3: WIN
Another terrible draw. Drew my first guard around 20 cards left, but I had a nice quanta start to make up. Ramped up damage fast and was able to hold off damage with D. Shields, though one was Deflagged. I was uneasy about a possible second Deflag, but it never came. Heart-pounding close.
Game 4: WIN
We both had decent draws, and he started laying down Graboids fast. I defended with D. Shields, praying for no Deflag, and thankfully it never came. Cut the quanta close, but I managed to get Fractal out before the second shield fell for the final kill.
Good games. Guessing there was only one RT and Deflag, but they were pesky and worried me a tad when I really needed draws or the defense, respectively. Funnily enough, they didn't really seem to change the outcome of the game as far as I can tell. Either I clearly won or lost based on my draw with the Guardtal combo.
