Game #1:
I won the coin toss (holy crap that never happens) I dropped two early EQ which crippled his quanta production - got a GoTP on turn 4 and another on turn 5. He countered nicely with tit shield. Slowed my damage down and once I dropped Pharaoh made scarabs useless. He eventually got damage on the table and quinted some of it - I got a lucky draw with Procrastination to hold on for the win - played RT against some largish forest spirits to secure the win.

Game #2:
I lost the coin toss as usualy, but he only dropped one QP - I held back on the EQ thinking he might be slow playing his pillars. I knew from testing that I could kill him with only one pillar in play without much difficulty. He eventually dropped a second pillar which I EQ'd. I got a lucky 3 factory draw this time which allowed me to drop a GotP on turn 3 - he again countered with a shield - fog this time. Stupid hax shield held up quite nicely for three turns - but I kept top-decking GotP, and then in a failure of the shield landed 3 GoTP a Pharaoh and 2 Scarabs in 1 turn - that left him at 7HP and me with a win on the next turn.

1st match I played -titan, -EQ, -2 purifiy I believe. I wasted 1 pulvy charge on a time tower which proved unfortunate, as I didn't have :gravity to destroy a turtle shield that popped up later on, though he had a lot of stuff on the field. The 2 NMs game a little breather but it wasn't enough.
2nd match I played -titan, -2 purfiy. He got a lot of GotPs right from the start, and I have no CC and EQs were late. Tried to hax my way with a fog but no luck. Didn't draw NM or sancts.

It's all one big tactical move. Lose most of their cards, and then let Jeni kick everyone's ass. They'll all be too busy fearing Aether to expect it. Well played, team time :P

lol Avenger - you do?

Could you let me in on the secret? I don't know what I want to play next round yet - sort of depends on the opponent and the hoard of cards we have left in our vault.

I think maybe I'll play FireStall next round, yeah Firestall is a good deck - that should surprise everyone if :time plays it!

Congrats General. I'm glad to see you push the team one step further. A couple of other win like this and Time might get a second player back.

I was concerned about the possibility of GotP. We mostly expected to see scarabs. Hopefully there aren't anymore surprises.
