- 30 cards for medium vault error. I wonder how late it was finished

Over 24 hours, and after they had seen 3 of our decks, but we said it was fine for them to play us. Didnt have any say in penalty either.

So if I get this right. You think vault is done. Play 3 games then you realise you need 4 decks. You add that at cost of 30 card penalty. And you still get to play.  Sounds weird to me.

I'd rule it 30-40 card penalty and game voided. Opponent could salvage from a random water deck already played this round.

No one did anything in vault for the round. When I logged in and found that out, I just started doing SDPT and deckbuilding without awareness of what was played in r6. I can't say unaware of what happened in r6 because I knew had already played 3 matches, but that's it. I also knew r5 happened but not much more about it.

The penalty should probably have been bigger, but w/e with 30 we were still going to go out unless I miracled a 4-0 round with an imploding vault and r4 deckbuilding phase intel.

please direct all the bad thoughts and your questions about this to me.

Ok after speaking to RR and re reading my post i get what happened.

I did not mean it to sound like RR actually looked at the decks.
What happened was that RR came on after 22 hours, decks werent built and WMs were making a decision. It crossed our minds hat they could see 3 of our decks whicch was worrying. I spoke to RR and trusted that he didnt look at decks, spoke with team dark and we decided we were happy for match to go ahead. Told RR and WMs that.
I phrased my post v badly as on phone, and now understand w3s reaction.

Ok. I think I understand this now. A part of confusion is that JC is on darkness and not water. Posting decks that late could have lead to 4 auto losses. I think WM's did the right thing when consulting with darkness. I think 30 cards penalty is ok. I'm happy it could be solved in a way everyone is satisfied with.

Then again, imagine this happening to aether or darkness, in that case I think the penalty would and should have been different. The obvious reason is that water isn't in a power position and it most probably won't affect the end result of war, unlike aether or darkness.

We won’t be affecting end result either. We’ll be lucky to finish top6, with this rng.

Regarding the penalty against Water, both asdw152 and myself discussed at length various amounts for a penalty. We had chatted with team water regarding the issue, as well as listened to the comments and concerns darkness had regarding the issue. We took into account all information available to us to make the best possible decision for the most fair outcome to all parties involved.
