Both games went very similar: I got out a couple of Deja Vus, then Hope + luciferin for 4 defense, while he had a few gargoyles. Then he puts some dragons on the table, but I respond with more deja and luciferin to raise the defense higher. Then finally I play a dragon, but TorB gives up seeing he can't get past the Hope-shield.

Oops, looks like you are right! My only excuse is I was under the General's orders to use this deck...
We did not originally have Hope in the vault, but it seems we salvaged and used them  :o

So, I guess this is a fail from us  :'(
