1.2 He played a nova and soon started fractalling mummies, but I was able to play a hax shield soon and the early dagger also helped a lot. He killed my first black dragon, but I was able to produce a few Scarabs with a Pharaoh, and barely won.

2.1 He had no novas and only a single pendulum, so I decided to steal it to prevent fractals. I had no hax shield in the beginning and no Time cards to spend my Time quanta, until I played a black dragon and a Pharaoh, both killed straight away by lightnings. A few devourers suffered the same fate, but luckily that meant less aether for him, so he never was able to play fractal. On the other hand he played an arsenic soon, so I was lucky to draw both a stiletto and a hax shield soon after, so I was able to stay alive just long enough to survive his last attack.

And that last moment, when I had only 2 hp left, and his arsenic was blocked... yeah, I barely died, but death, you won't have my soul... not now. Not until soul catchers arrive, and not even then. I'm going to enjoy my Time a little longer ;]

Game first:
good draw with nova and the second one came also fast. Everything was playable. He played Dagger which helped him a lot. But the true power of RND came when he played his hax shield. He lost 10 hp once with me having around 50 dmg on table :<
Second game:
Hax shield, 15 hp, 7 poison counter, me having 21 damage....
I am gonna cry

Yeah, we converted all our Voodoo dolls into Black Dragons... otherwise we would use a Voodoo doll deck against xuru for sure. But this whole ban on voodoo forced us to convert all our Basilisk Bloods, Gravity Pulls and Parasites into pillars.
