We were expecting a firestall and just crossing our fingers, hoping the fear of Reverse Time would keep the rush elsewhere.

All 3 games played out basically the same.  I got a good hand with deflags, creatures, and quanta; she did not.  I blew up Fahrenheits as they hit the table and played creatures as I could.  She could not bolt them all and never drew an early Phoenix.  It sucks to win this way, but RNG owed us for our matchups.

The one game I did not start with a deflag was the time when we did not connect.

Naps said something like if she had to die she would die by phoenix :)
Also, if she won, she would get the tastiest salvage possible.

Eternal damnation seems a high price to pay, but I guess he came through with his end of the deal....

We never would have guessed she had 5 Phoenixes.  What terrible misfortune.  RNG smiles on me once again.

Yeah, we've played this one a couple times, with a few variations this round.  I think Inthisroom and Bripod designed it, if memory serves.
