Game #1 = WinSaw a dark mark and wasn't sure what to expect, I was reasonably certain I could win, but it all depended on how many steals he brought. I played an early OE which he stole, a 2nd OE which he stole, but kept topdecking CC for his creatures so the few the OE managed to damage were significant. And Oh the Epic Freaking Fog Blocks - I think I've used up all my luck for the remainder of my life.
Game #2 = WinSuper Amazing Fog Luck again! And much worse Odii drew only 1 steal in the top 22 cards - so OE just killed all his things and that was that.
Game #3 = LossNo OE, No T-Storm, fog didn't block much and he just flooded the table with creatures. And no Sancs and only a lone Miracle drawn for healing so he just ground me down.
Game #4 = LossDrew lots of CC this game - but no early perms, while I did eventually get some healing in play I just couldn't kill enough of his creatures - and was forced to waste 2 single use CC cards on killing individual dragons. By the end of the game he had too much damage for me to overcome.
Game #5 = WinLate fog for me this game and early damage for him made this challenging. However my opening hand had 3 sancs and I top decked the 4th on my first turn. The lone T-Storm in hand was of some concern as my only CC - but I eventually topdecked a second and managed to clear the board of his creatures. It was then just a matter of my perms out stalling his steals, which they were nice enough to do, earning me a tense and hard fought 3rd win.
