[21:11] <rob77dp> what say you to offering relic win if Death subs (already subbed once this round) and wins?
[21:12] <mrpaper> I'm earth general yeah.. I'm talking bout that right now
[21:12] <rob77dp> ah ok - I'll wait for you to arrive at a conclusion of that discussion
[21:49] <rob77dp> I am ok to sub with full relic reward (IF Death wins)?
[21:49] <rob77dp> just verifying what MTL is saying
[21:49] <mrpaper> yeah
So Death wins 1 relic from match.
Well, a closer-than-3:0-yet-still-ended-3:0 matchup here.
Game 1:
I play quanta a tad cautiously half-expecting some EQ to happen. No EQ. Commence pillar/pend dumping as I draw them rest of games. Play Wardens and Skull Shield ASAP. Wardens are BB'd same turn as MTL dumps a few dragons. DRAGONS! Oh no - those high creature HP's should fare well vs the Skull. I play some Plagues to help with that. Stone Skins come in at a regular pace and all is well. Eventually just a lone Stone Dragon survives all the Plague's and the Wardens delay this dragon a LOT... by end of game was up to 20 turn delay!
Game 2:
Play quanta. Play Wardens and Skull Shield ASAP. Wardens are BB'd, wait for close-to-last-minute to Stone Skin first time and dump Plagues as I draw them. Suddenly, PURIFY on a dragon or two!
Uh oh, a couple dragons mostly unkillable could be trouble for me. Was down to about 17 cards or so left in deck having drawn and played 3 SS needing another in next 3 turns or else losing is. BAM next card is a SS top-deck = win. A couple of silly Skull Shield "unholy's" this game too. As in, 8/10 healthy Stone Dragon going down and a 9/6 Purify'd Ice Dragon.
Game 3:
Much like game 2, without the mid-game drama over needing a Stone Skin top-deck. Similarly, this game featured yet MORE Skull Shield OP with I believe ?two? 8/10 Stone Dragons feeling the unholy wrath of my shield. Yet, throughout the games, several poisoned dragons attacked all the way down to 3, 2, and/or 1 HP without turning into Skeletons. Weird, I say.
Conclusion:
is now 5-0 in support battles, yet woefully worse than that in the "real" War matches. :/ Go figure, eh Shantu?
