Sadly this was quite the desyncfest, various failconnects and bjessee apparently got graphical bugs whenever I hatched my Fate Egg.
Our actual games went pretty similar, I played stuff, he destroyed some of it, some of it survived and killed him.

We were hoping for Ghostmare, but we did not expect to have much of a chance in any case.

We had tons of desyncs (never experienced so many before).

Games 1-3.  He gets more creatures than I can Rage Pot, and his Fate Egg gives him something nice*.  Too much damage too fast.

The only time I won was against the AI when his Fate Egg gave him a Virus, and I drew all my pots.

Apparently, it would have taken three Miracles to win since two was not enough.

Best of luck, 10 men and Team .  It was unusal to be on the other side of a War match with you.  Thanks for the match and your patience.

Heh, I've come to consider Fate Egg Grabbows a trademark of Team since 10 took over.

Fate eggs always cause desynchs with me. Not sure why. Appears that bjessee had the same problem.

Every time 10 men used a Fate Egg, the screen would show two copies of the critter and then one would disappear before damage was dealt.  I would not be surprised if that contributed to our issues, but we had trouble many times just connecting to start.

As for the usefulness of Fate Eggs, they certainly worked well against me, and we had some great hatchings last War.  4 quanta for an Archangel or a Pharoah is a crazy good deal.  And while 4 quanta for a Werewolf seems like a bum deal, it still ended up being a 6/6 attacker for 5 quanta, most of it in-element.  I know Team would not turn that down.

Truth is, Fate Egg rounds out the quanta base of their grabbow while giving them an attacker that in most cases is advantageous. Using Fate Eggs as the main part of a deck is stupid - too prone to RNG - but if you take a look at the creatures you can get from a Fate Egg, the possible good hatches of an upped Egg are much more probable of the bad hatches. Also uses the unused off-element quanta from novas. All in all, a decent card choice in this deck.
