Saw fire mark and was immediately confused...until the novas came turn 1
Game 1 - WIN
2 lightning and a fractal in opening hand...no creatures for 3 or 4 turns. While he played arse and MP turn 1 -_- Thought I had no chance. Eventually drew a spider and fractalled it. lightning'd his grabbies as they evolved. Ended up winning with 1 HP. Had he kept 1 grabby unburrowed, he would have won.
Game 2 - LOSS
1 mark for quanta...drew a pill, which got deflagged. Drew a pend which got deflagged also. He killed my spider, and i only drew psions rest of match. Lost by a turn.
Game 3 - WIN
2 creatures and 2 lightnings in hand (perfect starting hand). he gets 2 MPs out early, then a couple grabbies. damage race is neck and neck. He never draws a nova the whole game. If he drew nova and NM, i probably would have died.
Game 4 - WIN
Perfect hand for me again. He plays 2 nova, MP, and NM turn 1. I play 2 spiders and both get BB'd. Lone MP trolls me for a few turns until I lightning x2, then fractal spider. Spiders come out 1 at a time. He eventually plays a grabby, then a fog. grabby dies immediately. Won with about 65 HP or so.
