Nume (Death) Win - Demagog (Earth) No Contest https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=16338.msg209513#msg209513

When I saw my opponent, I went and hid in the nearest corner. When I finally came out, I decided to avoid the inevitable and make an illegal deck to avoid losing valuable cards.

Just kidding. My team wanted me to take one. Have fun with your new cards!

Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i8 5ic 5ic 5ic 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5l8 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5rg 5t2 5t2 61o 61o 61o 61o
Be sure to post the deck. It'd be funny if yall took an illegal one as well, even funnier if it was either unintentional or a suicide deck.

If you play the match, sure. I'm killing a bunch of birds with one stone.

We kinda expected 1 or maybe even 2 suicide decks from :earth this round, but werent sure against who. I'm actually glad its against this deck, as it wasnt really made to fight :earth originally, and its made with salvages (lots of elements like to play water against us for who knows what reason  :)) )

;D Luckily we still have more than enough cards in the Vault to not suicide just yet.

Er ... are you not going to get a penalty for that deck not being 50% Earth? I realize it's a sacrifice deck but that doesn't make it legal ... and doesn't the penalty coming out of your Vault hurt you?

ooohhhh,.... too much turkey... It is quite interesting that so far there have been 2 suicide decks and both have come against Death. We'll take it.  ;D

I am a bit confused though Dema. Why did you specifically take a suicide deck since you can take upped cards?

Just because.

Well that and because it's the least obvious place to use a suicide deck, so that becomes the obvious place to stick it.

What ACTUALLY would make sense is if you took 3 suicide decks vs us otherwise it really is pretty weird. We figured Earth would take 2 suicide decks this round.

If you have 3 ranked opponent decks vs 3 ranked players from your side, your best choice is to pair your best deck vs their second, your second best vs their third, and forfeit the top.  If you're guaranteed to lose one match via suicide anyway, then it makes even more sense. =)

I guess it depends if you see 3 upped cards as a huge deal compared to more favorable matchups.
