Great games Chum!  They came down to the wire!  This was my deck:
Code: [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4vc 4ve 4ve 4ve 4vh 4vh 4vh 4vi 4vi 4vi 4vl 4vl 4vl 4vo 4vo 4vo 5um 5um 5um 5uo 5uoThis deck was a perfect counter to chum's deck, which was something that we expected.
Game 1: Early discord spelled disaster for chum, but he managed to get a wings out to stop my creatures.  I couldnt draw a devourere for my life to BE it and destroy the shield.  He got his dragons out, and then put up a fog shield that haxxed a lot.  Fog shield held to the end, and I couldnt get 16 damage from 3 lycans, 2 aboms, and a discord.  I got 15.
Game 2:  Another early discord, and an early lycan with BE.  Game was over as soon as it started.
Game 3:  Yet again, an early discord.  I had an early lycan and devourer with BE, but not enough damage.  I was able to get a dusk shield out, and 2 aboms.  He had 2 dragons.  I chaos seeded 1, which froze it.  He had 50 hp and I had 45.  A few turns passed and it was 19 me and 18 him.  My shield held off and I won.
Great games again Chum!  Good luck to you in the rest of the war!

You had a "perfect counter", yet you lost one duel? :)

Anyways, Gratz.

Might I point out that MrBlonde also faced a pretty good counter, and won? The RNG has just as much effect on draws for war as they do draws for other duels :P

My point is that when you have a "perfect counter", you never lose. I said it jokingly and it should not be analysed or taken seriously. :)

I don't think you can call it a perfect counter when you lost once and then relied on discord doing an incredibly good job scrambling quanta, and even then only won with 1 hp...

I was partly joking too, hence the ":P"
Also, a perfect counter can lose... if it somehow bottom decks all its key cards or quanta generation :P
But yeah, I'd agree that it isn't really a perfect counter

You had a terrible deck or a perfect counter, or more likely something in between.  Doesn't matter.  What matters is WIN.  Congrats, jippy99.

You can have a perfect counter and get a bad draw, which I did because I didnt get a devourer to BE.

You can't rely on getting one of your 3 devourers to BE every game, and getting a BE to play on it, and getting an early discord. You don't get every single card you want. I could just as easily say that we would have been fine if you hadn't dropped a turn 2-3 discord in all 3 matches (which is probably true).

Basically though, a perfect counter doesn't lose once and barely win the second time. When it happens more than once, it's probably because it's not a perfect counter.

you keep saying we barely won, but we also barely lost by 1 hp.

You seem to only include facts that advantage you :P
