Round 1:
He didn't play so many Phoenixes, and I was wary of potential Deflags, but I threw down my Vampire Stiletto anyway. It kept me alive throughout the match alongside using Lightnings to strike down his Phoenixes, and it worked well. Add a Dusk Mantle and a Nightmare, and I held the match for a win. His Holy Lights were used on himself, but to no avail against my Devourers and weapon.
Round 2:
His hands got better at this point, throwing down multiple Phoenixes with Immolations on Photons, and I wasn't able to stop the damage. I managed to Fractal some Devourers to suck up his quanta, but he used Holy Lights on them and I wasn't able to suck him of the quanta I needed to play more Devourers.
Round 3:
I threw down my Dusk knowing that he had no Permanent Control, but with three Fractals in hand and no Vampires or my weapon in place, I was screwed. A lonely Devourer came out to try to save me, but at that point, he was already accumulating too much damage. His Chaos Seed added insult to injury by using the 'Drain Life' effect on it, giving him a near practical EM. I didn't draw Nightfall or Eclipse, and all I had was Lightnings and Fractals in hand most of the time.
...good games Salamence747. Your hands got better - mine got worse.
