Earth using Firestall makes me sad. I might be a little partial on this though...

Bad round is bad. However, what happen to you is the exact reason why I dislike to have only 6 creatures in a deck (dune excepted obviously). I even play my Ghostmare with an additional nymph because of that. Here a nymph might have save your ass or at least give you some ways to fight back.

Maybe, but we tested against an even tougher version of this deck and won much more often than we lost.  I actually ended up discarding some CC in a couple of the games simply due to the fact that I didn't care about stopping 1 damage for 1 turn.

This was more a general statement against the deck with only 6 low HP creatures than a real strategy to beat yours ... Sadly it is a tendency in time decks that went with GotP. The interest of the golden nymph is often underestimated because of the high cost of the draw. However, in a 6 CC vs 6/7 creature battle, precognition takes all its sense.
