Games 1-4: We played these last night, I don't remember much of them.

Game 1 (LOSS): I remember having a pretty bad hand, though I don't remember what it was, and didn't know what type of firestall he was using, so I played more aggressive and lost.

Game 2 (WIN): Developed a more solid strategy, dropping vamps, stiletto, and a single dragon to clear my hand and draw fire bolts, stealing fahren early to and sanc late to reduce his healing, counting my damage and his healing, and using whatever's left there plus lightnings, drains, and dragontal for the win. It worked.

Game 3 (WIN): Much the same as Game 2, except I aimed to kill him two turns while he didn't have quanta for miracle. he played a mirror shield and killed a few of my dragons, but I still beat him next turn.

Game 4 (LOSS): I used my bolts and dragontal a turn earlier, thinking he'd play a mirror shield if I didn't, and not being able to kill my dragons or miracle. He did both of the latter, and I wasn't able to recover.

Game 5 (WIN): Much the same as Game 2, except I just woke up from a nap and I almost played a dragon on turn 4. x.x

Great match glenn, these were really nervewracking games. Good luck in round 6 :3

I am sorry my team.. I really try my best.. but facing dragontal is not something firestall can handle. I did all I could. I really did. But I am sorry I make my first true mistake in playing matches, and it happen at one of the most important times, perhaps I am too pressured and lose focus. funny thing is, this last match I am not palpitating like usual. ddevans, had you steal my 2 farens, there is no way I can win. cuz I need the weapon

Game 1 U have forgotten, but I remember. u play dragon and a vampire, but my faren chip your life fast. you steal my first faren, and u steal my sanctuary. I bolt for the kill
Game 2 U stole my faren, I agree, but to  be honest, you should have stolen another 1 instead of sanctuary.. I used one rain of fire a tad too early to kill both of your vamps because you already have the quanta to kill me next turn. I did draw my second rain of fire much later, but I could not do anything
Game 3 Like usual, but my early faren rocks. i put up the mirror shield, so drain life and lightning become useless. sadly... not eough quanta for miracle
Game 4 early faren again, which he steal, but he steal another sanctuary, i quickly play my farenheit and chip his hp. keep 2 rof in hand while he was happily healing with sanctuary and vamps . then poof dragon and I poof 2 rain of fire plus miracle.. my faren kill him before he can rush me again
Game 5   f#$% sorry my language, but I play this the next day since I have a seminar on and I was late. i have 2 rof, and bolts ready. again he steal my faren and sanctuary, I really wonder why. I make minor mistake here and there throughout war, but this is the worst. I play as calm as I could, but I think I am actually too presured since after the previous 4 matches yesterday, I saw acsabi and vangelios already lost, and I lose focus. I did not notice he had 4 turn left. what is my mistake? I have to discard a card, and after killing the dragon with bolt, i have 3 bolts left in hand. and 2 rof. but the decision comes where I need to discard either miracle or reflective, I discarded the reflective, only to draw another miracle the next turn.. that is somewhere midgame and I realise my blunder.. had I keep reflective and play during that few last turns, he would had to use the spells on himself, but he could not otk me, and I have miracle and 2 rof. he wont be able to kill me in 4 turns, cuz my faren will finish him off with 3 bolts, or I use it on the remaining dragons.. I did not realise he had 4 turns left.... I am sorry team, I am really sorry

Woohoo! I remember spectating the first fur matches, and was waiting in suspense for the result, and here it is!

Only four bolts and two fahren...I can see now why you said stealing a sanc instead of a fahren was a misplay of my own. I played the entire match assuming you had 6 bolts and you'd kill me anyways with 75 quanta, so I decided to steal a sanc so fahren couldn't deal as much damage and I'd have more time before you could bolt me.

I played the entire match assuming you had 6 bolts and you'd kill me anyways with 75 quanta, so I decided to steal a sanc so fahren couldn't deal as much damage and I'd have more time before you could bolt me.

in my testing I know I can send a deck to beat this, but then it will fail against the pestal. I have tweaked this like 30 times? just to counter pestal and hopefully your dragontal as long as you cannot figure out my deck. wrong mindgate my part here since you play dragontal, but it also one of my best shot. In my testing I never lost playing dragontal against the firestall, but I have luck since you do not know my deck.
not sure you notice, but I play my farenheit very early to give you the impression I have a lot of farenheits, and not sure you notice each time you use your second steal on my sanctuary, I instantly play the farenheit. I was so afraid you notice it and I was so glad in the fifth game u still did not notice. It was my great chance but I wasted it, to concentrating calculating the quanta both your side and my side to see any chance of otk and to miracle early. one thing you did not notice, we almost finish playing till less than 10 cards, but you never notice it is hard for me to reach 75 quanta. but I know it is difficult to detect, since in other 2 games where I know I had no chance of winning, i just keep my cards and let you stomp me. and you have all the advantage with the dragontal and drain life for the kill, so anyone will let their guard down. I myself will also be careless. If I am too aggresive and you know my deck, you could just steal the 2 faren, and smile. you did not calculate my fire quanta in the first place to see that I need faren to defeat you ..
well good games, just that it makes me sad that this is one of the matches I test the most, and yet I lose because of 1 mistake, worst that it is at this round where I truly need the win for

I don't need to calculate fire quanta when I know 5 bolts at 70 quanta, or 6 at 60 quanta, can kill 100 HP without a fahren. You just didn't have 5 or 6 bolts :F

With a bigger deck, mirror shield, bolts and RoFs to kill dragons, and miracles...I feel like you had the deck advantage here.

I don't need to calculate fire quanta when I know 5 bolts at 70 quanta, or 6 at 60 quanta, can kill 100 HP without a fahren. You just didn't have 5 or 6 bolts :F
