Oof. I wanted to fight honorably, but I guess I had to betray.

Not exactly as 'skill-based' as either of us wanted it to be, but hey, it was all a matter of luck.
Game 1: He won the coin toss and in my despair I silently cried to myself about the inevitable doom of facing the one thing I DIDN'T want to face: the Immortal. He threw up Sanctuaries like confetti and waited boringly for his Diamond Shield (that never came), and his massive amounts of healing via Sanctuary, Miracle, and Stone Skin weathered my Ghosts to dust. My attempts to prolong the battle were futile, considering the size of his deck. 0-1
Game 2: Conversely, by winning the coin toss I realized that
I could actually deck him out instead. So instead of filling him up with my worst concoctions, I decided not to play Nightmare whatsoever and just wait it out. His shields came early, but his Sanctuaries came late; his poor pillar draw was enticing enough for me to delay his further draws, but I figure the 'slow and steady' method was obviously the sure way to win in a best-out-of-five match. There was a desync on his end, but he conceded in that my Reverse Times would have allowed me to deck him anyway (and I did). 1-1
Games 3 & 4: A repeat of Game 2 by me winning the coin toss; RNG heavily favored me. Although I did try to defeat him by actual damage, his healing still would have won out. 3-1
Good games annamall, and thanks for the pleasant battles despite their horrendously long duration. ^^;;;;;
