1st game [won]
could get an early psion out, together with a golem.
Didn't draw fractal.
He didn't have a good hand either;
The game lasted quite a while;
I could stall the later turns with dim shield.
A silence could have destroyed the dim chain though; together with a fractal or a sky blitz, he could have won.
Fortunately for me, he didn't draw silence.
2nd game [lost]
pretty much the same as the 1st game, with a fractal on his side a little quicker.
Except that this time, he did draw silence.
Goodbye dim shield.
Hello fractal on a dragon -> 4 new dragons.
3rd game [won]
Got 3 early golems, with no fractal, but plenty of dims.
He got a very slow start; the 3 golems beated him slowly all the way down;
by the time he got a fractal, I got 3 dims in hand.
jenkar didn't connect-perfect starting hand with 1 golem and 1 fractal4th game [won]
This was actually pretty close.
I drew 3 fractals before being able to play one; once i were, i still had to wait another turn for the pends to turn correctly.
By that time, he fractalled damsels, and played a dragon.
In hopes of being able to fractal his dragon, I first fractalled his damsels (after all, this delayed me 1 turn, but that didn't matter due to dim). Note that he still could have had 1 or 2 wings.
he played a very well-placed silence; if I were to put up a dim, i'd win;
if he were to draw a fractal, he'd have won.
He didn't draw that, though.
gg's. The sandstorm is over.
