Uh, so, game descriptions (might be a little off, late hour etc.):
- G1 - nothing fancy happened, tried to clog him from the start, but it didn't work and I never got through past his BWs. 3 poisons within first couple of rounds didn't help either. LOSS
- G2 - he starts with 1 pend but doesn't call for mulligan. Was pretty sure he had an ok hand otherwise. My draw is abysmal,1 pend and hand full of RT and ghosts. My mulligan.
- G2b - 1 pend vs. 3 on his side. Thanks RNG, well mulliganed too. Luckily the 8th card is a time pillar. Things progress slowly, but early poisons + couple of hits with arsenic start to drag me down. Trying to stay afloat with nm healing, but he has no reason to unload his hand and poison starts to hurt. I'm hoping for a change of luck when the 3rd (?) BW is MIA and 2 ghosts seem to finally stick to the field, but with 1 turn to win he drops a perfect dmg bolt in my face. LOSS
- G3 - 6 quantum draw on his side after he wins the coin. I'm a little on the fence if it's good or bad. No mulligan. He draws (and plays) the 7th pend in the next turn. Little surprised, but hey... good for me, right? 3rd turn combo on a 1 card hand gives me an early advantage. He keeps drawing the pillars till the swift and ugly end. WIN
- G4 - ok ish draw with 1 tower 1 pend, both upped. Early double nymphs + dagger - most likely the best draw luck I can have. Sadly, his draw isn't bad either. Early BW, both nymphs die to bolt and bolt rage pot combo. Never really broke the BW chain in this one. LOSS
Overall, for some reason I'm a little disappointed. Yeah, gotp vs. bonebolt is an uphill battle, but somehow ghostmare is always expected to miraculously pull through. 11 upgrades, especially these poisons, made it nearly impossible with non terrible draw on
side, though. Good mindgate, guys.
But on the bright side - we have the obligatory loss out of the way, it should be all smooth sailing now, right? RIGHT?
