yeah, this deck lost to pretty much everything we anticipated in testing. Bottom line, RNG severely trolled oni and gave me turn 3 discords in all 3 of my wins. There is no reason I should have won this matchup.

I am truly sorry Oni. Despite my win, I am still upset that we sent this deck here.

discord trolling a 31 card duo with 12 pillars doesn't seem THAT outrageous.  Getting the discord early... unlikely... but it was a 3-2 win not 3-0...

I'm equally torn between really wanting to see this and really not wanting to see this.  I mean a laser in the eye is never good, but particularly if it smells like fart.

Can't say we didn't try to please Oni with suicide decks and birthday presents. We just wanted to be friends, but ... well. Maybe next time.
Deuce fumed when he saw what deck we gave him to play

did some testing with hain just now, and this was actually a much closer matchup than I initially thought with a slight edge to my deck. Because dragons were used instead of aboms and maxwells, it slowed down your deck a lot. I was never able to beat the version that was played in round 3 in testing.

As for the dim deck you also could have played, that matchup was close to 50/50 as well.

So, this wasn't the mismatch I initially thought this would be, but RNG definitely played a big role.
