Game 1: I smiled when I saw the
mark. Wavedash started off with a 5 Pend draw -- there went the thought of an early lockdown. I had an average 2 Pend draw. As I couldn't lock him down with Devourers, I changed my focus to Fractal Vampires, especially since I had an early Eclipse. Chargers and Accelerated Cockatrices met my Lightnings, and once the Vamptal hit, the victory was clear.
Game 2: This time, wavedash only opened with 3 Pends against my 5. Eclipse was awesome and came early this time as well. However, I couldn't draw a Fractal until I went through 16 cards and was getting close to losing (from repeated Cockatrice attacks and the initial attacks of Chargers and Accelerated creatures that got hit with Lightning). I was almost going to lose from his last attack (a Charger and 2 Cockatrices), but my third Lightning hit his Charger and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat; I won the next turn.
