You know, there are a myriad of ways you could state this much more nicely.
"Would it be possible to get an update on this thread?" being one of many.
If you want to suggest that they be updated more frequently in general, that's still not a nice way to put it.

We use the stats of the previous round to prepare the next, thank you for updating quickly, round 4 has been over for almost 48 hours.

Your's would not be the only team that uses the numbers, I would guess.

In this manner, at least late update is equal effect for the event?  (c'mon WM's, saw that wood -- complete the Round 4 update here!)
