Anyhow fire decided to use pretty much the exact same deck they used vs our other matchup against them. Fortunately for us we had enough damage to beat it out.

Round 1 - Wasn't sure what they were using but figured it was a firebolt deck. Got an arsenic deflaged but my dim shields saved my bacon in this one as it prevented her arsenic poisoning me and damaging me for 2hp per turn. GG got out an early arsenic as did i (i got 2 out to replace my deflaged one) and when i had her at one turn she was forced to early firebolt me down to 5 or 9 hp. She also RoF'd my troops a couple times. I held back my fractal in my hand to keep it secret.

Round 2 - This time i had an arsenic blown up again and had an early fractal. Knowing she had RoF's i saved a spider in my hand along with the fractal. She managed to poison me quite a bit and never RoF'd the spider and mummy i had out. So when she had 34 HP i fractaled and won the match.

I'm the newest member of Team Fire, permanently replacing cokeandaspirin.

I would have felt so happy if I had finished off death as a new member of Team Fire. Sadly, death as managed to avoid death, however weird that sounds.

I have used the EXACT same deck as the one corrum used for his match against team death. Mrblonde used a deck similar to the one in that match, except much more aggressive with SPIDERS omgomg.

Game 1
I started with the arsenic and some poisons in my hand, so i saved my death quanta to play it, then used my poisons to damage him more. He played an arsenic too, so I bombed it. I realized that it was a wrong choice when he played a dim shield. I kept drawing fire pillars and stockpiled fire quanta, but not enough to kill him with my 4 fire bolts. I lost with mrblonde 9 HP left and 10 poison counters.

Game 2
I had a TERRIBLE draw. no arsenic, no RoFs to kill mrblonde's creatures on the field (even though it didn't really matter since he had fractal anyway).



Conclusion : I hate spiders and mummies. EWW.

Well to be fair saying you had a TERRIBLE draw when you had 1 arsenic and 1 RoF in your entire deck wouldn't be exactly correct.    But yeah you definitely would have won round 1 if you didn't blow up my arsenic.

nah i doubt it; u chained another dim shield after your first one, so my arsenic would have only done about 4 more damage with 2 more poison counters, meaning i would have lost by like 3 HP

I was going to put "almost definitely" but i don't remember if i had the adequate enough amount of quanta or if i had another dim in my hand. I also for some reason thought the match lasted a bit longer as well. So we'll put round 1 at a maybe. GG though. We needed it much more and thanks for the poisons we needed those back.

Great job Death.  1 out of 2 against Fire is good.  That's what we were hoping for.

Hopefully you and Xinef can stick around for a little while.  We can use all the help we can get taking Fire and Earth down a notch or 2.
