Game 1: Win. We both got a creature out at the same time (dragon and steam machine), but I had an early fog shield and dagger, which put me at the advantage. However, He soon put up a permafrost shield and froze that dragon, and the other dragons that I put out. Soon the score was level. I ended up winning on the last turn before I would have most likely lost. Extremely close.
Game 2: Win. Once again, I had an early dagger and fog shield combo. Glenn didn't draw his shield though. A solid nightmare when his hand was near-empty put me at the advantage and my the dragons carried the rest of the game.
Game 3: Loss. Glenn had an early permafrost shield up, and I had no dagger. My fog shield was deflagged too. I was almost able to alpha-strike with dragon + 2 shockwave for the win, but glenn's machines just hit too hard. Glenn took the win.
Game 4: Win. By far, the most exciting and exhilarating game of the series. My starting hand was 3 pillars, 2 dragonflies, one dragon, and one nightmare. The pillars + flies made early quanta generation easy, and soon I had my dragon out. Glenn 2x rage-potted it, but I soon drew another dragon and a dagger. Glenn was unlucky in not drawing a steam machine until mid-game. At around the same time, he drew his shield. Luckily, I drew a steal! Unluckily, Glenn deflagged the stolen shield and put up another one the next turn. Slowly but surely, his steam machines grew and started to pound at my shield-less HP. In the end, I drew a late-game dragon as my other dragon unfroze and took the win.
Great games glennfoo. Games 1 and 4 were real nailbiters! I'm glad I got the chance to play you again. Good luck with the rest of war!
