game 1: early damage, nightmared early too, nightmare+2 ice bolts for the win
game 2: not enough quanta to bolt rols=loss game
3: bolted 2 rols early, then hope shield. stole all pends, bolted another rol, got a ICE BOLT for the 8 hp kill. TROLL RNG FTW
game 4: bolted rol, but enough aether quanta to get him a win
game 5: very early damage: 2 crawlers, 1 dagger, suddenly I find out he has no RoLs! then NO hope shield! 10 hp left and I press space for the EPIC WIN!

And here they say you can't beat rol hope!

Game 1: No RoL for like 8 turns. Too slow. Got Bolted to death.
Game 2: Goaded Bolts with extra RoLs. Worked like it should. Easy win.
Game 3: Start with 2 quanta sources. Both got stolen. Did not see another until it was too late.
Game 4: See game 2.
Game 5: 4 Fractals in starting hand (and drew the fifth). No RoLs for 8 turns again and never saw a Hope.

burd played well and got the better of me again. He is both fun and frustrating to play.

Congrats, and good luck to you on your future battles. As long as they are not against me.

In retrospect, I believe he had bad quanta draws in games 2 and 4 (and maybe even 1). It is a shame that we did not get good draws in the same games; it would have been a lot of fun.
