Pretty much your standard Chrysaora rush. Freezes completely shut down his Shriekers and Dragons, though I was a bit worried when he started Reverse Timing his own frozen creatures. Speaking of Reverse Timing, god that crap slowed me down a ton. Would've been nice to get out an Ice Shield, but his Earthquakes wouldn't have any of that.

All in all, great games, Xinef!

I think Smokefree was supposed to sub for Immolation but then he couldn't make it and then Dragoon said I should play him and then Xinef was online so I'm kind of confused there, but I guess that's not really my problem. I hope.

Round 1: He didn't draw any arsenics until late game and he had very few chrysaoras, so I won by simply rewinding the dragon and playing it again (I even tried the rewind-precog combo to play it the same turn).

Round 2: He had an early arsenic and I had not enough creatures to beat him. Freezes slowed me down too much. I draw titanium shield the turn I was about to die.

Round 2.5: desync (he connected, I stayed at "waiting for opponent")

Round 3: I had the titanium shield in hand and his arsenic managed to hit me only once. Then it was a simple rush with poison, which I lost by a single round, and rewinding one shrieker didn't save me.

We lost against a Water deck we tested against.  Valuka and I tested against a Poison deck and Time won every time.  And we had 6 Freezes in our Water deck.  : /

No, really, if you really tested against a speed poison, and you've always won, then how could you possibly lose?

And you can't call a bad draw, because Titanium shield early in 3rd round doesn't seem much a bad draw.

Btw, nice attempt at the same trick twice.

Now that I look at the screenshots I've made, there was indeed some bad luck involved. In second game I died at 13 cards left and had only 2 shriekers out of 7 creatures in the deck.

In third game it was a really close game, but since titanium shield protects from arsenic only, and I accumulated 19 poison from chrysoaras and poisons only, it was hard to outrush that.

So yeah, I'm surprised how Dragoon and Valuka found it to win every time, probably some random coincidence. Based on my extensive knowledge and experience I'd say my deck had around 40% chance against wavedashe's...  so congratz on choosing a good deck againt us, but still neither of the decks was a perfect counter.

I wasn't saying we couldn't lose or that we had a bad draw.  I was bothered and confused by the fact that even after testing against a deck almost like the one you used and making sure our deck could beat that kind consistently, we still lost.

But I remember now why we did better when we tested it.  The testing was actually done for last round and we used BBs in those decks vs RTs.  BBs does much better against cheap Chrysaoras than RTs.  Unfortunately, we replaced those BBs for RTs to help against that adrena-deck you won with last round.

Anyways, good match and congratz on changing your strategy against us.  I thought we had that kind of deck covered, but we screwed ourselves when we tried to adapt to your other deck.  Hopefully we'll have another match against you next round to give us a chance to redeem ourselves.  ;)
