According to Kuroaitou, a relic was used.
G1: Won coin toss, had a decent start with 2 pillars and a pend, starting hand GotP and NM. xn0ize played about 6 pends, which let me NM him 3rd turn with about 6 ghosts. Sundials said no, but I still won.
G2: Had a only-pillar start, and some ghosts, but no NM to be seen. Drew late-game NM, while xn0ize's 3 early voids kept me at bay. His sundials gave his voids the time to get me to 1HP. Loss because stiletto.
G3: Slowly, but steadily, I managed to NM about 6 ghosts onto xn0ize's hand. xn0ize conceded after leaving him at 8HP, with a Sundial draw.

2. Voidstall looks like it should easily beat ghostmare-- ghostmare is very weak to CC, and his RTs are all dead cards because you don't play creatures. NM Draw denial is annoying, sure, but everything else looks like it should tip in favor of fire.

1. Time used a relic here?

1. Time did use a relic here, yes. I'll tell fabian771 to include it in his post. There was some... 'interesting' discussion this round regarding the usage of a relic to say the least. ::)
2. Steals could also be used against his Shards of Void/Dagger (if we didn't draw ours early), to weaken the MAX HP reduction each turn. Maybe xn0ize just had some bad draws, but the sundials still can't draw cards if nightmare is spammed repeatedly.

Ghostmare has an edge on Voiddials that grows larger the more Nightmares and Steals it packs. 3-1 is what I'd expect, but it looks like Fire conceded another small (not miniscule like against Aether) chance to win. The last game could turn into 2-2, which could turn into 2-3.
Maybe noize had a terribad draw and gave up?
