The amount of not fun looking at my opening hands was was incredible. They ranged from 0 damage, 2 EQs, Snovas, to 1 Pend, to no Novas, to no disruption.

Needless to say, there was significant RNG influence during all points of the games he won.

Game 1: After approximately a million desyncs, we got into a match where I had a horrible draw without Discord or any damage. His included I believe 5 different quanta sources, and I immediately assumed he was RoL/Hope and deflagged pillars, since if he Fractaled at this point I would lose for certain. He ended up playing a surprising Dim, but at that point I had drawn some cards and had him dead in 3 attacks, though I was at 54 to his 2 dragons. He has 13 :light in pool and almost no other quanta. Discord proceeds to take 0 :light, and he plays a Dragon and wins.

Game 2: Everything went smoothly, my only average hand of the match.

Game 3: Had no damage at all in my hand, drew a Discord but not a single graboid in the top 15 cards. Even one would have given me the game easily, but it was not to be.

Game 4: Had a 1 pend hand and did not draw anything relevant for about 5 turns, at which point he was chaining dims, and I couldn't draw any Deflags when I needed them.

Great job Pine and well played! You took quite a risk in game 4 playing a PU on Terro's Shrieker before playing your first Dim, and I think that extra couple 8 damage really paid off! :P

Dat Discord gave :aether quanta instead of taking it away once before Pine put up his first Dim, a second time when Terro Exploded one, in game 4. Sorry Terro for your bad RNG, but at the same time I'm not really sorry! XD

Bad RNG is ceretainly to blame. In the testing we went like 5-1 against PU dragons. This is realy a big dissapointment.

Very surprised by the result after looking at these decks.  Not to say :light doesn't have a good deck, but the matchup seems to favor :earth .

Yeah. This deck lost something like 2 best of 5s in at least 50 total testing matches... And it lost against this one once in 6.
