Well, ggs is not really the right expression, was an unhealthy situation of the both of us stressfully watching paint dry. I always had a shield out by turn 4, but armors and bbs often kept me waiting (so did pulvy, but that was a calculated risk).
Gamble was for 3-0.
More later.
G1. easy win, early shield tons of CC, late weapons on both sides.
G2. Good start, but then I dont draw a single usefull card in at least 10 turns. Possible missplay: while he had 3 aboms on the board, i repeatedly played oty with an armor in hand without using the armor.
G3. Probably was pretty good for me all in all, only really remember winning.
G4. quanta flood, not a single useful card in opening hand, topdeck gravy shield to make ian a bit more salty despite his win
G5a. both win easily vs AI; I think I would have won for sure, but it doesnt matter in the end
G5b. another pretty bad starting hand for me, aside from early shield. Ian had a pretty decent start, was about to mentally surrender, but eventually my draws were a lot better than ians (ever since I used SS just to survive while taking 14 dmg a turn I started topdecking the right cards while ian didnt seem to get anything useful anymore).
For what we thought would be a great counter this was hella nervewrecking.
