Umm, i don't really remember how the games went. They were all pretty close... i think. Kuro won the first one (i think...) and i managed to get the other 2.
Anyways, after i saw that he was packing few reverse times and an eternity, and not so many steals (or he didn't draw too many), i stopped using flying weapons. Just held one in the weapon slot all the time, so those were some slow games.
3rd game, in my opinion, was pretty great, with many good decisions and nice moves on both sides.

Hope i posted that SS correctly :S

It is a great pleasure playing against Kuro (it would be, if it wasn't a war match and i wasn't sweating so much, being nervous...). He is a real sport and a very good player. Thanks for the games! GGs

It looks like Darkness predicted your deck and still failed. That must be painful.

You have no idea Zeru - it was half-predicted, but still pretty painful. I'll explain why in just a moment.

I decided that Team Air was going to use some sort of Flying Weapon deck against Darkness - they wouldn't dare use Flying Weapon cards against the two Time opponents they were facing. The problem was, I had no idea what type of weapon Air would use, so I took the general counter to all Flying Weapons: Reverse Time.

If it was Titans, I would have sealed the game then and there, as Gravity Pull would have been removed otherwise. If it was Arsenics, I'd have to Steal them and pray that his shields would be diminished by poison. I'd be pissed if they were Morning Glories (luckily, they weren't), but it turns out that they went with a heavy CC deck with Eagle's Eye & Bonewall, much to my dismay. I had a decent chance of winning, but...

Round 1:
In a nutshell, I got out a decent hand of pillars and pendulums out, sucking up his quanta on the second turn with my devourers in play. He had trouble getting a weapon out, and when he did, I sent it RIGHT back to his deck, and stole his other weapon in the permanent slot as planned. His attempts to stall didn't quite work out in his favor due to a lack of shield. I ended up taking his Arsenic with my second Steal and planting poison on him in case he tried to stall again:

Note that throughout this time, we were having major desync problems, so I offered to refresh Elements and both of us agreed not to 'alt-tab' or open the chat window at anytime during our next matches. No more desyncs occurred thankfully. :D

Round 2:
Almost a deja vu match with Istari. - I only drew one, freaking, obsidian pillar on my starting hand. I didn't have devourers either to try to deny him, and with the pillars he played, his hand obliterated me. I remember him trying to Fly some of his Eagle Eyes (which luckily I managed to send back to his deck), but in the end, he was doing too much damage and I couldn't put out fast enough for him. I was crushed under his barrage, and my devourers turned into cartilage from his accurate bow.

Round 3:
Semi-decent start for both of us, but at this point, he was smart enough not to use Flying Weapons against me. It was frustrating that I couldn't use my CC against his Bow that kept on dealing 5 damage a turn. My devourers starting gobbling away, and I managed to steal his First bow, but he put out a second one and kept on shooting. He had no Bonewalls (my Devourers decided that :death quanta was more delicious), but it got to a point where I was slowly falling apart. As Eclipse dawned, my Gargoyles and Dragons were more resistant to his bow, and I busted out two dragons and a upped Gargoyle with an Eternity noting that his Snipe technique could only deal 3 damage to each (Gargoyles have 4 HP with Eclipse).

Then he decided to animate all of his weapons, which lead me to a conundrum: Reverse a creature that was about to die? Or reverse one of his bows to reduce the damage potential and CC with a Bone Wall? I tried the former, but either way, I knew I lost.

One step forward, one step back. I thought I redeemed myself against Air by winning against the Air General, but... oh well. ^^;

That said, great games Dogg. :) Your muscles caused me to faint prematurely before the match (j/k), and despite the desync errors, I'm glad that the issue was rectified and we got our matches done. Dogg is quite the player as well, and despite his nervousness, did quite a few tactics I couldn't quite counter. ^^

EDIT: No more comments? :|

Thanks for such a great description of all 3 rounds! I just... Couldn't remember anything after the intense match was over. Even if i could, i could have never explained it as good as you, especially since this cool language is your 1st language so i think you might be speaking it just a liiiil' bit better than me :D
Comment people! The man put such a great effort describing the games :)  Heh, it was almost like playing them again while reading this.

From what I saw, the matches were very intense. Dogg played very well to manage to get around RTs with a weapon deck.

Also, Kuro's description of the match is quite good. It seems to give a very good representation of how the match played out.

Well played on both sides.

great job kuro
'tis sad you didnt win for all the efforts but you played well
we *might* have a chance had there been a hax shield or two but like what was said before, we did expect flying weaps.dec but a different kind (the kind that didnt have bonewalls in them)

I wish I would have seen this game.  It looks like you played great Dogg, and made the adjustments necessary to pull it off.  Great win for  :air.  Things are turning back around.
