Can't say good games, since the course of the fight was pretty clear after first few cards played.

I think we messed up a bit. This deck had 32 cards in it before we posted final version, just in case the game goes to deckout battle against other 31 card deck, as it did. We had Basilisk Bloods (from Nymphs) and Gravity pull to create a huge shield. Eventhough technically that 31 card deck prevented few changes to fight for the win into the end, this was still weak counter against fractal deck, so doesn't matter. Couldn't last to deckout. We hoped something else to come against us.

After looking at all war games aether played this war the only games they lost 3-0 is when they use strange decks thats gets countered. No fractal deck lost more than 3-1 and often 3-2.

This was the matchup I liked the least, no matter how much I thought about it I couldn't find a good way to counter their main decks with satisfying results.

The best deck vs aether fractal deck in war don't have more than 70% win rate and not every team can field those decks.

I even think playing 6 fractal decks every round would grant them 3 wins every round. That combined with great players and deck builders just make things op.

That would pretty much explain why aether's worst round last year was 4-2. Even a bad round for aether is a good round. I'm not saying that the results only is due to good decks but I'm quite sure that any team could play aether and still end top 4 every war.

Well rol hope is a great deck but it's easy to counter with mass CC. I'm mainly thinking about their fractal decks. What makes it even harder is that fact that they can throw in bows, rol hope, bone bolt and so on only to confuse us in predicting. But there is still no deck that beats their fractal deck with more than 70% win rate.

Nightmare is good card vs. Fractal.

And aye, RoL/Hope really trumps Pulvy Smash hard. I can't say whether I'm happy or sad to see aether going 6-0 twice in a row.
