Great advise telling a team, that lost 4 x 3-2 last round, to increase the RNG of the deck. "Probably winning 2 relics" is not a good enough reason to build an inferior deck. Especially when the other team could do something similar and we would win zero relics. We didn't know how many ups they would use, and if we knew, it would be more reason for us to use 6 ups.

They could have won with 0 ups and got the exact same number of relics even if you have 1 less up that your opponent and you win you would still get three relics just as many as if you had 12 less upps than your opponent.

I would think, with aether typically being an expensive element, yet alone Rol/Hope, that there would be discords.

(Whenever you win a fight, which is a part of a match, IF you have less upgrades in your deck than an opponent, your team gets onr relic, to my understanding. It's irrespective of how many upgrades the players actually have.)

It is just that vang has always been obsessed with (and against) me and aether at unhealthy and scary levels. He hates me and hates to see aether win so he tends to make up excuses

I don't think he hates you. He doesn't love you either. And no he is not a fan of aether.

He's saying they could have won with 5 had they decided to only use 4 RoL and not upgrade anything else.

I'm guessing he's in a position to see 20 cards being worth the risk of a few extra upgrades by being the 7th member of the current winning team.

I do not hate no, I would be very sad without them, especially because fire needs a beautiful story defeating strong opponents.

Nurple works pretty good vs aether. Just not vs this particular deck

You're probably the only person in the world who would suggest someone should lose 2 matches just to gain 2 relics when RNG could screw you over completely the last game, vang.

I didn't say RoL/Hope needed hours of testing. There are, however, a lot of Nightmare decks I've played over the course of the years. This all amounts to a mountain of experience. Change a single card in the deck and the result could change. I know because I've experienced it.
