First game I beat down with Discord, Abos and Maxwells, while he poisoned me. I got him down to 10 when he started chaining Sundials. Apparently my discord ensured his win as it provided him with a light quantum to draw another Sundial.  :-\
Second game I rushed him to death with I think some pretty lucky scrambling involved.  ^-^
Third game I rushed again and he managed to stall some time before I pushed through, but he hadn't poisoned me enough to win.
Good games Belthazar!

First game went well, I won it; pretty standard.

Second game, I didn't get a single sundial, and couldn't play bonewall with his discord up.

Third game, I started with 2 poisons and didn't get a third one until I had 12 cards left and it was my last turn. By then I had used my sundials and one of my bone walls to stall already. Second bone wall couldn't be played, discord stopped it. I also didn't draw a single arsenic... Really demoralizing.

@Time: this is the third round...in a row you guys needed to sub out Immolation
i think its time you guys find a permanent replacement
or are you trying to avoid the penalty for replacement after auction phase?

We're relieved to have gotten some luck going our way ...

Interesting deck from team Time. The Sundials + Bone Walls were a very good counter to creature rush. And we definitely were caught off-guard by poison. Well played match. :)

Well... Immolation played his first duel... or a part of it... anyway...

In best case, we'll be below 270 cards soon, so we won't need a replacement. Managing a 9 person group is a lot of work, so I'd prefer it smaller :P

Yes this war has been a good bit more difficult.  I think we should consider going back to smaller teams again.

As for the game, we seem to be running out of both luck and time.  Good try Belt.

Interesting. I actually find it easier, but it could be because everybody in my team is doing their job, and contributing in other parts as well.

Interesting. I actually find it easier, but it could be because everybody in my team is doing their job, and contributing in other parts as well.
When it comes to 'jobs' and 'people doing their jobs' it's roughly proportional, more people means more decks to make, more cards to salvage/discard, more duels to arrange, etc. so generally it shouldn't matter how many people there are.

But when it comes to management, more people is definitely more work, and with larger teams we'd need more managers, more funds, more customers and more corruption

:P

On the other hand, when some people fail to do their jobs and go missing, other people are busy with personal matters, other people live in different time zones so it's hard to meet everyone to discuss some matters etc... other people lose their fingers due to heavy injury (yup, that's serious), now managers job ain't easy... but is definitely interesting :D
