Thank god I won the match with this deck, I really didn't enjoy testing it, didn't enjoy playing it and it wasn't my first choice against Air. I'd like to blame Tiko, Dic, RR, Nils, Patch and Vin for this win. I still love Boot, he's cool.

Code: [Select]
5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i8 5i8 5i8 5i8 5i8 5i8 5id 5id 5id 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5ie 5on 5on 5on
Match 1: WIN
I got a 6 pillar hand wich turned out to be my saviour. Had a real easy OE freeze twice, but never got the shockwave to finish him off untill late in the match. Got a toad out 2nd turn wich kept dealing damage, his fog got haxed so I only missed twice in about 12 attacks. Pretty lame game.

Match 2: LOSS
2 pillar hand after winning the coin toss. 2 pillars apparently wasn't enough to pump out units and still have reliable frost bolts. His fog did it's job this time, I managed to destroy the OE again though. PU blitzed Dragons did their job and my CC could not turn the tide. 1-1

Match 3: WIN
Another slow match. I started out losing the coin toss and playing 2 pillars again. I got more pillars quickly though and had some lucky freezes. I managed to destroy the OE once again and killed a dragon aswell (toad ability + shockwave + bolts was nice for CC). Fog kept the game going for a long while. After surviving another PU dragon blitz and CC'ing all dragons to death I managed to win the match.

As I said before, I didn't enjoy the deck. But a win is a win so I guess I should thank my team for all support, deck building, testing and morale. I'd also like to thank Jippy for being able to play our matches smoothly and being a great sport.

Man do I get unlucky:
Code: [Select]
5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5oc 5of 5of 5of 5of 5og 5og 5ol 5ol 5op 5op 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 5pu 61r 61r 61r 61r 61rI really am starting to believe that the RNG is out to get me.
Game 1: Ok draw, but no blitzes.  He got a few toadfishes out and I had an OE, which promptly got frozen.  Couldn't draw a blitz and the game was done.
Game 2:  Kinda a slow start for both of us, but I recovered quick.  8-9 turns in got a dragon and sky blitz out, then PU'd it 2 times.  Possible the most awesome thing that has ever happened to me in war.  To my surprise, the dragon's damage stayed, but both dragons got poisoned and frozen/killed.  I had another dragon in hand and it was enough damage to put him out.
Game 3:  Slow start for him, I couldn't draw a PU.  Played my first dragon earlier which was a mistake (it got frozen, like all my other stuff).  Drew a PU and another dragon, so I blitz'd and used the PU. Next turn both frozen and 1 killed.  In the end, I was 1 quanta short of a dragon blitz with a PU.
GGs Jappert, these were really fun, despite the RNG freezing all my creatures

If I can be unrespectful, even Jappert had some terrible RNG. His applied on starting draws, tho.

Heh, maybe I am just mad.  I need something to blame it on, and I say the RNG.  I feel that these games could have gone either way and the only way it didn't go my way was because of that.

Let's just say that starting with 1 pillar and 2 pillars didn't help.

Yeah, those 18 damage dragons had me worried. As you said before I got really lucky with some of the bolt freezes though (especially with the <10 :water freeze on the first dragon in our third match).

During testing I wasn't lucky with freezes at all and had problems getting the freeze/shockwave combo off vs various flying weapon decks. This is why I didn't enter our matches with alot of confidence. That exact combo is what saved me in our matches though...

Ahhaha, sorry again Japp :] I'm really glad you had your luck besides all your miscomfort.

GGs, both of you; that Blitz/PU abusement is more than scary.
