(Light) asymmetry 2 - 0 kevkev60614 (Fire General)

I have to remark and infinitely thank Kevkev's patience with my messed up schedule. College ain't easy this month.

Long story short, I saw the matchups, proceeded to crap my pants, and begged our deckbuilder for a non-stall deck. Fire is known to "stall harder" and my team seems to hate me since none of my decks so far have miracle or any healing mechanism xD so no stall today.

We had like 4 desyncs including a funny win/glitch episode.

1) Early morning star for me, early fahren for Kev. EQ's rendered it useless, I played a dragon or two, can't recall... he ended bolting both and with 7hp reserved for the mighty star. I didn't play any SS.

2) No star in hand, but 3 dragons and 2 EQs~~  Stall stall stall stall. Stone skins prevented a OTK, we ended up Fahren / 3 dragons and star.

Very impressive win asymmetry; nice deck choice.   This was the 1 deck we didn't want to see.

We will have to plan extra hard for next matchup.

I should note that during the desyncs I couldn't help but see some of asy's deck.  I'd assumed it was creatureless initially and had intended to use my dials as early as possible to get quanta, until I saw a dragon on desync 3.  I saw an EQ on desync 4, which altered the way I played pillars slightly.

My point is that I pretty much knew his exact deck before we actually started to play.  I adapted and he still beat me like a drum.  Mad props to both the deckbuilder and asy, if they were separate people.  As I watched play out its matches before mine, I hoped to see EQs in them and felt growing trepidation when I did not.  This was a perfect counter to my deck.

Way to go asy, seems like I was right after all and the risk was well worth it. I knew Fire wouldn't try to rush Light, the element of stall. And I was very happy when I heard Kev he had a surprise for us: That deck would indeed screw all our stalls up. However, my heart sunk every time I saw Fire playing a Fire Bolt deck. And they played like 2 so far, so you can imagine how happy I am they played one now too.

And sorry, I just can't help it:

Yes, the Fire part is editted. But it now applies to Team Fire, and that's the point I was trying to make.
