Well, First I think water deserves everlasting respect for making trident working.

My deck:
Code: [Select]
592 592 592 593 593 593 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i9 5i9 5ic 5ic 5ic 5ic 5id 5id 5id 5id 5id 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jmIt was basically meant to make the opponent unable to play anything, while slowly building hard hitting damage.

First round: My deck worked like a charm, as I started with a few pillars and pendulums, and was able to get a second turn trident out, which started killing his pillars from turn three. He played a few fireflies, and tried to stall with dim shields, but he wasn't able to keep them up, because he ran out of quanta.

Second round: My draw failed, as I didn't get any pendulums in the first 4 turns, meaning he could build his quanta, and after he brought out a spider, he webbed my dragons and forced a deckout with wings and dim shields.

We had a few desyncs after this match, but we finally managed to play the ...

Last round: I got a nice draw, but he too, with 2 air pillars, 2 pendulums and 1 aether pillar.
I got a second turn trident again, but he build some quanta, and he got a spider out, and I didn't draw an ice shield, so I became a little worried. When he played wings I played two dragons at once, I already had an ice shield out, hoping the spider would freeze himzelf, so my dragons would kill him. So he started playing dim shields, and nilsie and I started calculating. I drew my last two dragons, but the ones on the field were webbed, and he had 19 HP left, so it would be really close, because his mark would give him exactly enough quanta to deck me out. But, luckily, he ran out of dimension shields, so I could grab the win.

Really well played Gyrodiot, you were a worthy opponent.

This deck was designed to spam endlessly Fireflies and eventually Spiders, while being safe behind Shields.

... but that's not what happened. At all. The dictator never saw a Fractal.

First round : I drew too few Pillars and Pendulums, and I suffered many tsunami from Trident. No quanta left : I lost with Dim Shields in hand.

Second round : I managed to have more quanta. I played Dim Shield, while my Spider was sticking Dragons to the ground. I chained the shields and won by deckout.

Last round : Starting pretty much like the second, with a Spider and some quanta, but I had no shields in the first cards I draw. Coming down to 19 HP, I played a Dim Shield replacing my Wings, in case he had another dragon in hand. The last turn, I had webbed all his Dragons, I had all the quanta I wanted, but no shield in hand.

I pray for a shield in the next draw... and I draw HOPE. *irony headdesk*

This match was very, very intense. I'm sad, because I lost... but it was a great battle.
Thanks and well played The dictator, you were a worthy opponent.
Went AWOL. No reason.
Now silent. May return.
