First game: I won the toss and had a great hand (I thought). I started to play my novas and to fly my weapons. Then I realised he played discord/BH and that it could have cost me the game. A lot of poison early saved me.
Second game: I decided to be a lot more careful, flew a discord and played an arsenic. An armagio of his blocked the effect of the discord and I basically finished the battle without playing any other card. It was hard to restrain myself with such a nice assortment of weapons but I managed to keep cool till the win came.

Nice choice for your deck smiley56 and thanks for rearranging your schedule so we could duel. Very enjoyable Battles.

Very nice matches.

Game 1- I only had a single pillar in my starting hand.  He was able to play his discord the turn before I could've and it was pretty downhill from there.  He actually only had one pillar also, which saw good for him.  His low quanta production prevented me from gaining much life near the end of the match.

Game 2- My quanta levels were a lot better this game.  He did play a VERY early discord and flying Arsenic.  I was eventually able to block his discord with Armagio, but the Arsenic was eventually too much for me since it was played so early.  I would have had a chance this game if I could have drawn another charger.  I only had one, and a hand full of 3 discords for the last 5 turns or so.  He killed me when he only had ~20hp left, so another charger would have really made a big difference.

Although against a poison deck, this would have failed miserably 90% of the time anyway.

What happened I believe was that the deck code was copy/pasted from the match ABOVE smiley's by accident. If at all possible, which means that this deck is now mismatched. 2 options:

Discard/Salvage from the deck played, take a penalty, and Use the the deck that was intended for this match against the opponent that we intended the Discord deck for.

or

Discard salvage from intended deck, take a penalty, and still use the deck used here against the opponent it was intended for.

It's up to ddevan to decide.

I would think salvaging/discarding would occur from the intended deck and gravity take an additional penalty.  Otherwise it would be a nightmare logistically, especially since gravity doesn't have 3 copies of the deck to discard from and one version won.  It was a simple mistake, neither deck would have beaten entropy, salvage/discard from the deck listed in gravity's secret section and move along.

I guess the salvage doesn't much make a difference -- it's not like two teams can't salvage from the same deck, as it doesn't interfere with the other -- and we'd definitely prefer to salvage from an Entropy-included deck ... but this is absolutely not about pressing an advantage for our team. We feel bad for Gravity that this completely honest mistake happened and it's totally fine if we salvage from the other deck; whatever is decided by the warmasters.
