I win the toss and soon play a Discord and Mummy.  I follow up with a Bonewall not knowing what to expect as RavingRabbid waits patiently.
RavingRabbid waits until his health is cut in half before dropping the first Dim Shield and Chrysaora.  Meanwhile, I drew a Dragon but withheld playing it for fear of CC.
He Fractals the Chrys and I wait until 5 are played before double Plagueing.  My Mummies can do nothing while the Dim Shields chain.
He manages to play Fractal on a dying Chrys.  This turns out to be the nail in the sarcophagus as I am soon overwhelmed with a ghastly amount of poison.  With the Dim Shields up I save my Dragons for next game.
Game 2
RavingRabbid wins the toss.  He soon plays a Chrys and I follow with a Mummy.
I get a Discord and Dragon out next, while he continues to poison with his lone Chrys.
I Plague 2 of the Chrys, but Discord did all the work here as he was never able to play a Dim Shield.  Another Dragon comes in to feast on the carrion.
Game 3
Game 3 starts off with a Timeout in an early round.  We reconnect to fight it out.  RavingRabbid wins the toss again and the game starts similarly to the last one with a Chrys, Mummy, and Discord played.
Discord kept denying :aether while my legion kept pounding.  This fight was over with pretty quick.
Good match, RR.

We timeouted one where I had a good draw.

Seeing the decks, I can say Death got pretty lucky getting away with the win. They had an only 17%* of winning 2/3 games.

*'Cause I say so.

pretty sad, this deck'd beat his but bad draws ruined that.
also pretty stupid, second time he had a nice draw they timed out and after that it was bad again :'( :'(

Discord equals win.
2 Mummies and a Dragon out were enough while Discord denied that 6th quanta for shield. That is all.

Btw, I dont see how getting 4-5 pillars/pendulums out before Discord is a bad draw. Its your average draw with this deck.

Because I only got 1 aether pillar, while I got 4 water pends. In Almost half deck.

Not really. Their deck can get Aether quanta pretty fast, and it can start chaining Dims then.

that was the problem, we couldn't chain the shields fast enough (in the good draws we started with at least 2 pillars)

Here: http://stattrek.com/Tables/Hypergeometric.aspx

You got your average draw. This match was a RNG coin toss, but your chances to win that RNG were not THAT high to call this a sure win on your average draw.
You also wasted your quanta by playing Chrysaoras and building poison counters, while Discord was shuffling it left and right. Sure, with more luck, you would have won this match. But you lost it. Twice.

17% FTW! But you are calculating this all wrong. I would like to argue about this for 4-5 pages  so i can prove myself right though.
