Saw time mark and thought "this should be easy"... boy, was i wrong
Game 1 - Win
Lost toss. Had good quanta, spider, psion, and lightning in hand. got spider out early, then he EQ'd my 2 pills and kept RTing my spider. I drew another lightning and killed his lone grabby and ghost. Eternity popped out. Despite his lack of creatures early, it was still very close. Won by 1 turn.
Game 2 - Loss
Won toss. Only 2 quanta sources, never saw any for the rest of the game, plus 3 dead fractals in hand. He had another 4 RTs in the top half of his deck...god i hate those things. This one wasnt really close at all.
Game 3 - Loss
Lost cointoss. Good quanta, 2 psions, spider, and fractal. He drew a good amount of creatures and another 3-4 RTs in top half of deck. Ended up losing by a turn. Cointosss loss.
Game 4 - Win
Won toss. Great quanta, all 3 spiders in hand, drew fractal next turn. Got all 3 spiders out early, then eternity pops out. He RTs all my creatures, but he only drew 1 grabby i think. Pretty easy win.
Game 5 - WIN
Won toss. Great quanta again with 1 spider, 1 psion, and lightning. Topdecked another spider. Got him down to 60 HP when he plopped 2 grabbies down. Next turn he evolved both, then RT'd my 2 spiders. Ended up winning by 1 turn. Question is whether he should have kept both grabbies unevolved, and RT'd all 3 of my creatures, then evolve later. I may have still won, but it was only because i won cointoss.
Looking at the decks, I'm kind of surprised I won this one. I feel i needed to win cointoss plus have a near perfect hand in order to win most games. But ggs dragtom, it was a pleasure playing you, and good luck to team earth.
