What chargers? You mean the mercenaries? And what if the mutation killed the dragon instead of turning it into an abomination?
Well, I agree with you that he did have a chance and should have tried at least, but I can't help but to point out the two points above.

I did say mercenaries in my first post.  Yeah, mutation is risky but odds are in your favor for it to become an Abomination.  Plus like I said, you could always LS it too to gain back some health as well as get under the Gravity Shield.  Main problem would actually be from a double-plated Otyugh.  You'd have to LS him as well and then wait for him to die before playing a second dragon.  But since he's only powering the Air cards through his mark, he's probably gonna have to wait anyways.    Eventually play that second dragon and hope you have enough turns to beat him down.  Or play that FFQ sooner and then Mutate it and hope for an Azure Dragon with Dive.

oh, derp. I missed the plate armors. Those+otyughs would be troublesome, but he could have mutated the otyughs or mercs and LS the other ones.

I'm pretty disappointed that even with there being time to finish the duel (13 hours 37 minutes as I post this), melendr was just assumed down and out for the count.

Considering that melendr even had a chance to win I do not believe it was a right use of Scaredgirl's power to be posting a deck that was to be used in the duel.

Congratulations on the win Smokefree, but in my eyes, I will not be seeing this as a victory for .

I know that is on some serious crutches here, granted that we put ourselves in this situation, it is not impressive that Scaredgirl kick us when we're down.

Some may say that wouldn't have won either way and I do not disagree, it was a possibility, a large one at that considering we did imagine this deck would lose, but was this fair to give melendr an automatic loss? Not 1 bit.

Not impressed with the call, not impressed with what happened, and not like this can be corrected.

melendr, sincerely regrets the outcome of this. I sincerely hope more caution be used when power is given to someone. No assumptions are made. Period.

Amusing but ironically, very true  Maybe you all should just scramble decks you think make sense in favour of decks that look like nonsense.
