Game one: I get a bad hand with one pendulum and he shuts me down with quantum denial
Game two: I get a better hand, he only starts with a pendulum, he tries to quantum denial me down, I already have an Arsenic and Owls out and eventually break through his hax shielding. He almost got me down with a late dragon but my bone wall had held off his attacks for long enough that I could take it.
Game 3: He gets another poor one pendulum hand, I quickly get two Owls out and take out and devourers before the can burrow for the win.

You had a great opponent, and not so great hands, can't win them all I guess...

WHY? WHY DO I ALWAYS HAVE ISSUES WITH THESE DAMN PENDULUMS?!

Round 1: In a nut shell, Istari. pinpointed the battle - I got a good hand of 4 pendulums and starting sucking his quanta away with Devourers. He couldn't get an Eagle's Eye out in time, so I eventually just drained him away to nothingness. An earthquake to his towers further denied him of his ability to kill anything, and Dusk Shield protected me from poison.

Here's how it was SUPPOSED to work:

Round 2 & 3: I only got one pendulum. One. Freaking. Pendulum.  >:( I didn't even get earthquakes to soak up the excess :earth quanta either. (*mutters frustration*)

Sorry for failing you team. :( - Good games Istari. I knew you'd be throwing up some other ridiculous flying weapon deck, so I figure that Steals were pointless in that equation. Good ole' denial would have ruined the Snipe ability... had -I- gotten the quanta in time.

Surprised Team :air that we didn't take Steals? I'm just glad you guys didn't take Wings against us.

its ok kuro, we are still 8-1 this round. it was a pretty even matchup and you got unlucky.

Good games guys.  Six bone walls is pretty brutal, lol.  Not taking any chances there.

Decks are pretty evenly matched, so this could have gone either way.  After Kuro took game 1 we were so close to that perfect round I could taste it, but 8 - 1 is still pretty darn good.  Good try and we'll get em next time.

Surprised Team :air that we didn't take Steals? I'm just glad you guys didn't take Wings against us.
Dragons and Gargoyles are airborne; Wings would've done nothing 'cept use up a card slot. Vampires also happen to be airborne, so Wings aren't really going to be deployed often against Darkness. Heh.
