Same deck we played against :aether last round (I think). Kurohami was playing adrenaline staffs, so this was pretty much the perfect counter. Titanium shield stopped the few druidic staves that made it past earthquake. I luckily also had 2 more cards than Kurohami.

Round 1: I won the coin toss, played stuff, and got an early morning star and an early shield and an early dragon and a bunch of early earthquakes :P. Without Kurohami able to do more than one damage per turn from a frog, and getting only 10 healing per turn from 2 staves, I eventually killed him.

Round 2: He won the coin toss, and I had a pillar-heavy starting hand. However, I drew a lot of earthquakes and killed his :life pillars one at a time. By around 75 hp I got a shield, then Kuro managed to get out 2 staves, canceling out my 7 damage per turn from morning glory. With both of my dragons in my bottom 5 or so cards (the first one got hit by 3 shockwaves as soon as it came out too), I had to deck him out.

Good games Kurohami.

Mhm. Now we only have to get past Water and we're at a pretty sure 6-0 this round ;)

I really could not do much to change the result. The vault is so near empty that it's lucky to make any viable deck at all, and this deck pretty much lost as soon as it is apparent that he had more cards than me because it doesn't have much offence, not to mention the quanta denial that rendered me pretty much helpless. I did what I can, the rest is fate.

Deck I used:

How many cards does life even have left in their vault?

Not enough.  And I just noticed something.

What the HELL are you talking about?  When you say "perfect counter" don't you really mean "had two more cards"?  Let's be clear here.  We knew this deck was coming.  And we knew it was a deckout deck.  So instead of even bothering trying to hit you with, I dunno, strong hitters, we ALSO took a deckout deck.  And might I just say your deck was pretty goddamn screwed.

A SINGLE stave was enough to outheal everything you could have possibly hit at us.

We could have packed three damn RELICS in here and instead of having to chose which to warriors sit out next round,   we'd be enjoying getting light pillars back.

So get off your high horse.  You didn't win this one because your deck was any good.  You won this one because Earth had wiped out so many cards, we simply couldn't afford to take any more.

:o Damn don't mess with Gl1tch lol.  but i've gotta say he's right.  Life took a beating last round (and so did  :aether and  :entropy ) so they really were at a disadvantage.

One thing i have to say to Gl1tch though is: if you're still thinking about giving up your master position because of the war you shouldn't.  This is the first war so anything could have happened.  It's also only the 2nd round and its still possible to hang in there (depending on what you have in your vault :/ ) so don't give up based off of a first time thing.  Good luck to all the  :life guys

T'was the perfect counter Gl1tch. I'll explain why

Game one, we actually beat you by damage, that could also have happened game 3 if you had decked us out in game two

Also, saying that "IF we packed these cards, we would have won", is silly. When I first played Gemini, I didn't have a RoF in my deck, and I ended up losing because of about 6 phase recluses attacking me. If I'd had a RoF or two, I would most likely have won. The same situation here. If you packed 3 more cards, you MIGHT have won. Not necessarily, because the cards come out different every shuffle, and those Relics could have upset the balance.

We were expecting a flying staff deckout deck, so we made our deck even larger than we predicted you would make it. It worked.

Oh, and a Single staff wouldn't be enough, even with Adrenaline. That's 20 heal, and we were capable of 27 damage per turn.

Sorry, but it's the facts. Better luck next time.

OFC it wasn't the prefect counter... A deck with 2 cards more than your deck, which could block all but 3 of your TOTAL damage each turn is by no means a perfect counter. Just that you couldn't neither kill nor deck us out, doesn't mean it was a perfect counter. Well, just because you had absolutely no chance of winning, it doesn't mean our deck was a perfect counter, does it?  ::)

P.S.: I love how you took exactly 37 cards, because our ex-deck-outers had 36 cards. It was pretty funny :)
