Good games! Icy wins once more to claim :aether's second win. :P

My deck. Look familiar? It's my Round 1 deck plus 1 Aether Pillar! :D

Round 1:
I saw an :air mark and I knew it was going to be a Flying Titan deck. Whether that was good or bad remained to be seen. I got a pretty good draw and got a couple Frogs out early, as well as a Lobo. He managed to play a Grav Pulled Titan, which I promptly eliminated using my sheer fast offense. Another Gravpull Titan was also taken care of. My Shield + Lobo combo was interesting, but certainly not needed as I rushed him down, despite some great luck with a Fog Shield. I won with about 50 health remaining.

Round 2:
I didn't get as great a draw - only 1 :life pillar. jmdt only started off with 1 :gravity pillar, though, so we were in the same boat. And, again, this deck is a very good deck to bounce back from bad draws. I managed to squeeze out 5 Frogs by mid-game, which had trouble thanks to another 80-100% Fog Shield. However, jmdt got no Titans out except 2, and those were late in the game when it was already too late to stop my growing offensive. I won handily.

Good games, jmdt. Don't mess with :aether!

Or :life, either. Yes, Gl1tch, both times I won, I used 15 :life cards. :life is awesome, you can come back from this! :P

Good job icy.  Those darn frogs were ultimately too tough to slow down even with the extra 70 hp from each of the titans.  The 80% fog shield helped stall but, ultimately I couldn't get the cards/quanta to chain titans to keep my damage and hp up.

Here's my deck. :gravity

Why +1 :aether pillar?
Well, I thought that we had to build decks with 30 or more cards this round... so... yeah. I'm retarded.

You always have to build cards with 30 or more cards... but not more than 60.

Gratz to icy. I was expexting a pertify/grav shield combo instead of flying titans.

Offtopic: Icy now has 42 karma.

I was just expecting a mono-grav momentum beatdown deck with Gravity Shield in anticipation of mono :aether. It would have Gravity Shield for my Dragons and Chargers and Titans for my Dimensional Shields. I chose this deck because of its epic offensive, low HP creatures, and Lobo+Shield combo.

How many frogs did you have out to beat down the titans?
It would take a minimum of 14 and to have 70 damage on the table at once must be intimidating.
Be glad that jmdt didn't go with a fire eater deck, one several RoF would have stopped you cold.

Mhm, but I may have been able to deck him out if I got an early Lobo and he got an unlucky Deflagration draw.

I took down the Titans using 2 or 3 turns in the early game. In the first game, yes, I did get over ten frogs out. 'Tis the appeal of Fractal decks ;)
