My heart sank when I saw his Fire Mark.  I knew that if he had packed any Deflags I would be toast.  Thankfully, after stalling him down to his last card the first game I realized he didn't have any.

Deflag'd UGs mainly and used Shields + Miracle as necessary.  Was kind of worried because xdude gave a couple of my Miracles away.      But I still was able to beat him with Morning Star the first game and deck him out the second game.

Hm... we're getting lucky with our counters. First we have what Malduk says is the one deck that could beat him, then we pack deflags against a UG deck (we were expecting mono air btw)... must be fate (or just skill)

Wow. That was unexpected and, I must say, a little stupid. Why pack UG's vs Light? 

This is one of those crazy mind games you sometimes have in PvP.  "Surely he won't pack UGs because 1 card (Reflective Shield) can totally ruin that strategy.  So no need to put them in the deck.  But what if he thinks that I'll think that and so will pack them anyways?  But then again, what if he thinks that I'll think he's gonna pack UGs because I'll think he'll think he's gonna take advantage that I'll think I won't need to worry about UGs?"  *Mind explodes.*

But then I went and found a deck that could handle UGs without Reflective Shield if he threw them in but was more there to get rid of Fog Shield so that Morning Glory could pound him to death.

I think he packed UGs because almost all the light decks had been using miracle and UGs you can wait and explode them all at once defeating any miracle attempts
