rather boring games I guess, 1st game I got an early miracle and got him to 72 hp, then stalled with ice shield/miracles till I had enough water quanta to win with ice bolts

after a desync at the start we began the 2nd game - both had a slow start and he started chaining phase shield/bonewalls with 93 life left. with 2 cards left and a unlucky desync at the end we called it a win for me, since I had ~120 water quanta and some bolts ready

gg malduk, close games

We start gloriously again. For anybody still thinking we fail, LIGHT HAS TO BE TAKEN SERIOUSLY OR YOU WILL SUFFER A TERRIBLY EPIC DEFEAT.

On a less threatening note, I'm really sorry about having to fight Death. We were alike because we were both underdogs and we got good scores. Anyways, I'm happy we won. Good games Malduk!

The most boring games since the war  :D

This deck either decks them out, or grabs a window without miracle to fractal Mummies.

I'll quote myself from our secret deck preparation area:
Quote
Light - I think I'll win that match. My weak point are direct damage spells. Other possible losing scenarios is that they pack 38+ cards and terrible draw, none of which is very likely to happen, but possible.
Funny thing is... both happened  ;D  He had exactly 38 cards, like me, AND managed to win a coin toss both times, AND my second fractal was burried among the last cards both games.

He won first game with couple of cards left I think, bolting me to death due to me having a slow start with shields.

Second try, I won a coin toss, but we desynced at start.

Third try, our second game, he again won a coin toss. I kept myself at 93 HP to not let him bolt me easily, and had a window of several turns mid game where if I managed to draw fractal, I would have won. However, fractal was the card next to last one, which is the turn we desynced too. I managed to kill him on my screen that turn, but he said he used Miracle turn we desynced, which would seal the deal for him.

Boring games, great deck choice. I was rooting for you guys to take Holy Light as I thought that would keep either Ice Shield away or lower the number of bolts. But you guys packed whooping 38 cards there  :) Props!

This loss will hurt :death badly. I hogged some pretty valuable cards for this deck  :(

No worries Malduk. Light made a great deck and if luck falls a little our way we probably would have been fine. Not a great start for Round 2 but we will trudge on.  ;)

Yeah, I'm kinda pissed at myself here as I really expected such deck. I even tested it against Ufcfan using that water/light deck, but with 36 cards. And then I just concluded they wont be packing so many bolts when they need to take purify and holy light and shields. And even if they do, I figured I could nuke them with PU/fractal combo before we come to deckout.  :'(

We should've added one more fractal.... oh well.

So many surprises.
One battle isn't the end though.
I guess the more cards in your deck, the more you have to lose  :(

Good try Malduk.  It's a nice stall deck for sure with a surprising twist.  Good thing you only lose 30 cards.  Like xdude said, it's a shame we had to play you because despite the opposing natures, I feel like we're kindred spirits.  Well, ones that'll have to kill each other eventually.

Great job candle!  I'm glad you modded this deck the way you did.  Looks like it worked out pretty well.  ;)
