Hey penalties

On a more a serious note,yeah now a warning has been given and players as said in the rules and should record their matches properly.

Perhaps, other people should do their stuff properly also?

The thing with WMing is that when you screw up, which is absolutely going to happen at some point, you have to keep moving forward, which means making judgments on players's errors even in the face of your own. WMs missing an illegal deck is completely independent from a player mistyping a thread title.

I do agree with you dd,completely.Human error is about to happen.However ,once such big errors have occured, and then people come out with a threat about "wrong title formating" errors... well... Lulz and I salute you.Don't expect me to take you seriously after something like that.

P.S.  : A warning would have been perfectly fine,but considering that as a threat over something completely unimportant,irrelevant,5 seconds fixable is a gem,a new standard in etg war event.

This was not intended as a threat, I simply worded it in a very straightforward way to get my point across.

Yes, it's a tiny mistake that takes me 10 seconds to fix, but I spend a lot of time using Ctrl+F to scan through this entire section to load things into the public standings or Kakerstats.

If team names are missing, it's not always immediately apparent from the wall of text why the numbers aren't adding up. Hence, more manual work is required on my part.

No threat to Solaris or Team Life intended, just announcing it to everyone that if you make more work for me, I will penalize you. It's as simple as that.

That's the part vag took issue with, I believe. While a messed up title can be a chore for WMs, it's usually a little mistake on the poster's part. I mean, I forgot to include the team last round because torb told me his role was (Sideboard) (Sub) and I copied that directly. In my opinion giving a penalty for that is like giving detention to a kid in elementary school for having a small disagreement with his friend :/

Also, the mistake could be easily corrected and did not hamper the flow of the event, so I request that a penalty isn't awarded for such a minor detail.

Imagine a list of matchup results in a doc that doesn't resolve. You have to go through them all to find it. Adding work is hampering the WM's, which is hampering the event. Everyone has a certain amount of time put aside to their hobbies in their free time. Disregarding rules is therefore not an option, and a rule without consequence is not a rule.

I don't see any drama. I see a discussion that is clearly good to have.
